ULM beat the Hogs and took Auburn to overtime. Kudos to WKU, they are really good this year but I have to switch those rankings around a bit.

How is ULL ahead of ULM? Really bottles my mind.

Yes, ULM Has played very good football thus far. I personally rank them above us at this time but I think we can all agree that Arkansas is in massive crisis and Auburn has definitely slid down the SEC totem pole both last year and this year. Baylor is bringing a more consistent team to Monroe this weekend. Beat them or play them tight and ULM will leapfrog everyone in the SBC. 04-cheers

If you are questioning Massey, then the answer is the Arkansas RPI took a huge nose dive after losing to ULM and getting blasted by Alabama.
Doesn't mean anything in the long run.

When asked, Malzahn said that while the performance of a few teams has been good for the SBC image, he thinks that people might be premature predicting who will win the SBC title based on them.

I think he knows what he is talking about.

Because computers don't watch games. They just look at the raw data.

Also, the computer rankings are often skewed at the start of the season. Once the season progresses, they will be much more accurate. I'd guess that ULM will have more success than ULL this year, and we'll see that happen in the computers.
