2012 season tickets
How are sales coming along this year? I haven't received mine yet but of you have what do yalls look like? Post pics if you got them.

Texas St has sold ~6,500 so far. Double the most we've ever sold.

RE: 2012 season tickets
From what I understand the Cajuns just passed 10,000. Now, if they could only put together an organized ticket drive.

I think I remember the Cajuns doing one in around 1976.

We are currently working on enforcing a millitary coup in Jonesboro to turn us into a Communist City/State. People who do not buy season tickets to ASU football will then be exiled to Northwest Arkansas...

Either way, not much of a choice. Exile or remaining has gotta be a tough decision.05-stirthepot

Well we didnt want to mortify them. If we had wanted to put them through Hell, we would have sent them to Denton..

The amount of MT's season ticket holders is as closely guarded as nuclear missile launch codes at NORAD. My guess would be seven to eight thousand.

To be honest, this is wrong. We sold 3500 last season so double that would be 7K (if my brain and math are correct.)

I've been known to be wrong on occasion

FAU doesnt announce either, but Im expecting a decline in season ticket sales.

After a 1-11 season and the new stadium hype being gone, we will have to win to get the casual back.

Didn't your old writer have a blog stating that season tickets last year were ~4.5k. And you are expecting a decrease? I'm guessing you are going to have to raise student fees again to pay your debt service. Really need to get those naming rights sold.

Pretty sure thats Pat Chun's first priority.

I honestly dont know if it will decrease or not. I have no connections inside but usually when a team goes 1-11 you have some people become disillusioned. Lockhart season tickets were around 2,000 so last year was doubled. Some of those probably wont be back after the performance put on by the team.

Not only was it losing football, it was BORING LOSING football. Hard to keep new folks after that.

RE: 2012 season tickets
That's one thing to be expected that Pellini will bring to FAU, at least to be competitive, which FAU wasn't last season. I think FAU will win at least 3-4 games and be a lot more competitive this season. That in itself will be a major improvement. Remember Mario went just 1-11 in his first year, but there was a major change in attitude and culture within the team.

FIU usually doesn't release official numbers, although, on ocassion, they leak out some general info as the first game draws near.

All reports from the program agree with you. There has been a 180 degree turn in the program from top to bottom. I'll be happy with 3-4 wins this year.

I REALLY want to beat you guys this year as its your last in the SBC. Who knows when we wil face off again in Football. I will WEEP if the Shula Bowl trophy stays @ FIU on a permanent basis.
