I can finally confirm that Quadri Moore has committed to Cincinnati. #Bearcats

When it all began! Such a great day!

One of my strangest days covering UC. Quad called everyone but UC before school to tell them of his commitment. Didn't call UC until he got out of school to inform the staff. That causes a bit of a problem when trying to verify the story on both sides... 03-lmfao

Lol Chad. How did Q end up a top 100 recruit? Someone on this thread said he was a freak athlete? He had some nice skills, but freak athlete is not one.

He was one of the top players in NJ and played on a REALLY good AAU team that featured Karl Towns. I wasn't as sold on him as most of the national guys, but a lot of that was because he was my primary focus watching that team. Easy to watch Towns and Wade Baldwin and then raise your eyebrows the few times Quad made an impact from their perspective. Only two guys I really wasn't sold on that I saw a lot were Quad and Jenifer. Was right on one, and the other has far exceeded my expectations to date even with his limitations...

Can vouch for Chad on that. I remember when we fell out of the lead for Quad for a while and then he came back in the picture. Chad’s reviews were always realistic. Said the same things about Jenifer. I actually think JJ has panned out about how you built him to be.

It's amazing if you scroll through these threads. Some comparisons of JJ to Devan Downey, and Quad to Fortson?

Gary as a SF will always be one of my favorites. So many insisted on moving him away from the rim where he was clearly at his best on both ends of the floor. All because he had a few highlight clips where he showed he could straight line dribble to the rim. Fun...

Thanks Billy. I try to be very straightforward in my player evaluations because it is going to eventually be obvious one way or the other over time. Blowing smoke up the fan bases rear end on a kid that stinks does me far more harm than good. Might get me in a little trouble with my contacts inside the program, but they know I'm going to speak my mind for that reason alone...

I was one of those idiots. I saw him play three games at an AAU in Virginia where basically every other possession he was running coast to coast and figured he'd be a stretch four/power guard. Limited sample size makes you look incredibly dumb from time to time.
