If you simply look at a map of Europe and the distance between Moscow and Warsaw, you know that Hitler and Napoleon were mad. But Stalingrad and Leningrad both still came close to falling. And the tank barriers are still there in Moscow near the airport showing just how close the German army came to central Moscow.

If Hitler had left the war up to his generals, the Germans probably would have won the war. But he meddled, gave conflicting orders, and generally made their lives miserable...
