UTEP moves to the MWC to make nine and either SJSU or Utah State are invited. CUSA has 7 and invites UNT and FIU to get to nine and then one of UTSA/Charlotte/LaTech. SBC invites Texas State to get to 10 and then we decide whether to go to 12 or wait for the final scene of this movie where CUSA schools go "What have we done? What have we done?" as their stadiums fall down around them.

With all due respect was not long ago you were on the conf usa board talking about how wll Georgia St would fit and help the alliance now you just beat it down. 03-lmfao
Really? Are you sure that's what I said? Be careful and sure. Because I while I would have loved C-USA the reality is that a 24 team alliance or merged conference is kind of crazy to me and I have said so publicly. I STILL think that unless the TV payout is significantly higher than what MWC and C-USA are getting today, the Alliance is having airport meetings inside of 5 years. At best most fans of C-USA schools are either non-committal or just hoping the Alliance doesnt burst into flames around them. There are very few if any people going "Gee, what a great idea. Lets invite a fifth of I-A into a conference."
