Why are TROY and ULM getting votes? I am and Troy fan through and through and I know there is no chance that we are getting an invite. Same should be said about ULM as well.

There will be no alliance other than possibly some sort of joint TV deal and maybe some crossover scheduling in hoops.

Memphis? Yup, we have had 24,101 on average for our two home games against 'em. UAB would probably be close to that too. Tulane might not be so much. But put USM, ECU, and UCF at Floyd Stadium? That'd be a good game, and a great crowd. Much bigger draw than FAU/ULM/etc.

I guess the most obvious would be NT & FIU, though to see FIU go without FAU kinda makes me throw up in my mouth a bit.

This would not be good for the rivalry, and to lose them would just suck.
I can say I would miss them.

But NCOwl, even IF we move (not a sure thing), I would think...and hope...we could continue playing yearly? At least in most if not every sport....

I would hope so too. It hasnt been a long rivalry but it has potential to grow. FAU fans certainly take it more seriously then FIU fans do. Let Coral Gables go my FIU friends, just let them go.

Well, I'm not comparing nor bringing UM to this conversation, as you can see. I just think we will continue playing in most sports every year, even if in different conferences, like when we went to Sun Belt and you stayed at the TAAC back in the late 90's earliy 00's.

the only teams in the sbc that are attractive to another conference are A- state and USL..( known today as ULa )
