No way will Liberty ever garner even 1/100 of the support from Christians across the country like Notre Dame w/ the Catholics and BYU with the Mormons. Most people don't even know of Liberty. Do you think Methodists across the country are die hard SMU fans?

Maybe we dont want to consider any Liberty facts. We're a conference are large public universities. I have no wish to set foot on Liberty's campus for a football game and most people you will find will say the same. The finalists have been set for a while now for SBC expansion and I dont think Liberty was even a semifinalist. Like I said, if we go into Va, ODU and JMU are better less caustic choices.

My only issue with Georgia State is that their football coach doesnt exactly come accross as an English major.

Our basketball coach is Ron Hunter. And I think he got his point across in 140 characters. He also just had hip replacement surgery 2 days ago and is likely on pain killers

W&M has the most anti FBS fan base in FCS.

I have a feeling the Alliance/Merger will end up reconsidering Georgia State, if they go to 24, causing the Panthers to "pull a TCU" and cancel their plans to join the Sun Belt before ever playing a game. Right now, though, their main concern is probably getting out of the CAA before the exit fees are hiked on Tuesday.

I'll be interested in how Georgia State's OOC schedule is going to shape up. I would venture to say I could see some SEC and ACC teams making trips to Atlanta.
