Depending on where they need to send teams I could see MT as high as a 11 but no lower than a 14. 13 would be my guess

Best defender/starting point guard and last years freshman of the year suspended today. Not making the tourney this weekend.
Lord help the Sun Belt from having another 16 seed play in representative...
If MTSU, Denver, or USA wins, I doubt they will be in the play in game. If anyone else wins the tourney, then yes, most likely play in game.
Really? USA?!
If anyone besides MTSU or Denver wins, they are in the "playin" game, which really isn't a playin game. It's the
first round.
I forgot they expanded the field this year and that there will be 4 "play in" games. I won't call something 1st round when only 8 out of 68 teams play. If USA wins the tourney their record will be 20-11. I believe they could escape the "play in" if there was only 1, but since there's 4, I don't know. Maybe they could get a 15 seed. If they were to win, I it would depend on any upsets in other conference tourneys.
And wins against LSU and UAB may help, although we got drubbed by FSU. Hard to say. I don't think we'd be a play in game though. Not a 20 win team with a couple of quality wins, right?

RPI is a couple points ahead of ULL. Depending on who USA beats in the tourney could help, but I still see a 16 seed unless some serious upsets happen around the country.
