means- every conference would have changed it's compostion at least a bit in the last 3 years.... As someone said on a thread- I sure hope that we're at the end of this carousel and let these new conferences function for at least a few years peacefully.

It's most likely the final one for the 2012 season..... From a logistical standpoint- it almost has got to be.

I will say this- I think there's still a shot that we see:
- Pitt and Syr in ACC
- the other 5 new teams in Big East
- the alliance starts in 2012

Agreed. Also, I'm not convinced that the Big12 stays at 10 for 2013 - adding Louisville and BYU to get to 12 is definitely a possibility, if not a probability.

IMO the Big XII has just been waiting for the legal situation at WVU to be resolved, before moving onto the next step in the process of rebuilding the membership to championship game levels...

PAC 12 has 12 teams
ACC has 14 teams
SEC has 14 teams
Big East has 10 teams, Navy will make 11 in 2015.

I would be shocked if the BIG12 moves to 12 before 2013.

This is probably the least thing cared about in all of this but where will the WAC go for that 8th football member? They have to add one.

I figure if the Big XII is going to go beyond 10, we'll hear about it before football season starts up again...

I think after the alliance is set up- and if no WAC teams are plucked for it- that you see Montana and Montana St finally move up.
