I would like to thank the Academy and everyone that voted for my presentation entitled "Ypsilanti Heroes". I completed it on a rush of emotion after reviewing our last recruiting class for this year. I also was late for lunch so I had to cut it short. No need to thank me I'ii continue.

For those that do not know, that video of High Flight at the end, was the very last video seen on late night television. Analog black and white TV programming.

Yes Old school TV where the show that you are watching fades in and out like Eagles football teams. Ghostly figures appear then fade away like watching a wavy sea.

And if you are lucky you had a silver rabbit things growing behind the set; aka TV, to improve your picture quality. Those same guys from the 50's, repackaged those rabbit ears as High Digital antennas. Brilliant! Like the idea behind bottled water.

Falling antennas. Black and White TV. No video tape. No shows. No 500 channel options. No internet. Zero.

Think about it. That guy that came up with the movie Poltergeist, was likely a guy sitting in front of that fuzzy white snowy TV screen, getting pist by the second. :muttering: How to get even.

He had his last laugh going to the bank with all that coin he earned. He deserves the Emmy for converted negative energy into a positive way to make money. Desperation into a classic alien movie. The american dream.

You gotta see it. And do not bother trying to find the house it was filmed at because it is gone.

Come to find out that it's Vanilla Ice all over again. In fact the real dude singer was from the 60's! They dubbed over the voices of an old Indian song record for a B-Movie. It's a commercial. It's not real.

Yep, Chuck Ealey was, and is, a quality guy on and off the field who is still not in the College Football Hall of Fame...
When it comes to past great MAC quarterbacks, it is hard not to mention your own Charlie Batch and the numbers he put up...
Especially against the Rockets on several occasions... GO HURONS !!! (Except when playing Toledo)
