It has:
Romney 29%
Newt 24%
Paul 15%
Frothy 14%
But I'm far more interested in some of the extra questions asked, and the jaw dropping responses:
Q23 Do you think that interracial marriage should be
legal or illegal?
Legal............................................................... 66%
Illegal .............................................................. 20%
Not sure .......................................................... 14%
Sooooo 1 in 5 GOP primary voters in SC is racist. Nice. And a little less than that is unsure if they are racist.
Q24 Are you comfortable with the idea of a Mormon
being President, or not?
Comfortable .................................................... 63%
Not comfortable .............................................. 23%
Not sure .......................................................... 14%
Sooooo more than 1 in 5 GOP primary voters in SC is religiously bigoted. And a little less than that is unsure if they are religiously bigoted.
Q25 Would you be willing or unwilling to vote for a
candidate who had supported an individual
mandate for health care at the state level, or
are you not sure?
Willing ............................................................. 25%
Unwilling ......................................................... 34%
Not sure .......................................................... 41%
Sooooo 1 in 4 GOP primary voters in SC likes the concept behind Obamacare, and nearly 1 in 2 isn't sure.
Q28 What is more important to you when deciding
who to vote for: a candidate’s ability to beat
Barack Obama in the general election, or their
positions on the issues?
50%
More concerned about a candidate’s ability to
beat Barack Obama........................................
Their positions on the issues .......................... 37%
Not sure .......................................................... 13%
Sooooooo 1 in 2 GOP primary voters in SC is more concerned that you're not Obama than what you actually stand for.
The other bizarre dynamic is that a huge chunk of Romney's supporters have Ron Paul as their second choice, and Romney supporters give Paul the highest favorability out the rest of the field. WTF? How in the hell does one bridge the intellectual chasm between those two people?
And lastly, it has Ron Paul almost winning outright in the Upstate. That is very important, because the Upstate of SC is very very conservative and represents a huge portion of the state's overall turnout. Look for the returns from Greenville and Spartanburg counties for Ron Paul.
