Cajuns Finally get their (big) man
Shawn Long guy was the top priority in basketball recruiting last season. We got him, but not before a detour. This guy is huge and can hit perimeter shots. He will be eligible for 3 1/2 or 4 years starting next season.

Grats on your big man!

Im not much of a basketball guy, but I think FAU losing Royster has REALLY hurt us this year. Kore white has turned into a dud.

Next year our 7 footer Dragan (transfer from Baylor) will be around, so hopefully that helps.

NT's signed juco center John Odoh is leading all jucos in rebounds with an average of 13.6 to go along with 13.6 ppg and he also leads in total blocks. If Mitchell stays another year, he and the 6'11 Odoh are going to combine for a pretty salty front court.

Marlin is putting the pieces in place for a nice run starting in the next couple of years. I hope these kids can saty in school and keep their head screwed on straight.

Plus current freshman 6'10 Forrest Robinson.

Be interesting to see what Mitchell decides to do, he would have to think hard about declaring for the draft.

With the plethora of talent in this years draft it may be wise of Tony to stay one more year and raise his draft stock...at least that's what I'm hoping he does. The large number of scouts that are showing up to see him play means they are keeping a very close eye on his progress.
