There is a pretty high chance OSU could have beaten the LSU team that showed up tonight.

I loved this game. Truly great defense by 'Bama, and extremely good defense by the tigers.

LSU showed up. Bama just throttled their offense and special teams.

Alabama didn't deserve to be in this game.

I disagree. LSU scored 35 plus in 11 out of 14 games this year. Oklahoma State does not have anywhere near the defense that Bama does, nor did Oklahoma State face a defense anything like LSU's all year.

Even taking out the Iowa State loss on the heels of the tragedy, if Texas A&M held the Pokes to 30, LSU could hold them under that number, which would be more than enough.

The title game should be played between the two best teams in the country and if you did not believe, even before the game, that Bama was one of the two best teams in the country, you just weren't paying attention.

People are freaking funny. Bama and LSU were THE BEST teams in college football. Regardless of the fact they previously played, the thing about the BCS is pitting the best teams in the title game. OK State barely beat Stanford. Give me a freaking break about OK State deserving to be in the game. That is such BS. People are just upset at the fact that it was a defense dominated game. I am sorry but defense is a part of football, and as the old saying goes defense wins championships. That statement has rung true with Bama and LSU. If anyone else wants to be in the title game, don't lose to Iowa f'n State and build a championship caliber defense...bottom line is, the title game featured the top 2 teams in college football, as it is supposed to.

I think it has more to do with it being easy to prepare for the threats JJ presents given enough time. Saying OSU would have had no chance is not quite correct. Some said Iowa St. had no chance too, I'm sure. Did OSU deserve it more than UA(it being the chance to play in the NCG)? No, not saying that, just saying OSU would have more of a chance than folks are thinking.

The system is not about who has more of a chance, the system is about who is the best. Here, the best played.

There is no doubt in my mind that Alabama and LSU are the two best teams in college football; I don't really even think any other team this year is close to their level of talent.

We can "think" all we want about who is the best but if I'm going to watch I want it settled on the field, not just assumed.

Wish I would have boycotted. Game put me to sleep, literally.

I spent much of the time the game was on deleting Facebook "friends" who went to Troy but excitedly posted photos of and their praise for their true college team.

It's extremely sad and embarrassing to me, and by de-friending them, at least I don't have to see it.

I am told by some that I don't understand the "culture" of Alabama. Instead, I believe those people have no pride, should give back their diplomas and great Troy experiences and go live in trailers on the outskirts of Tuscaloosa worshipping the God of Lying, Nick Satan.
