Look for the waiver for MWC to be turned down. The BcS will cite the loss of top end schools that gave them points.
May not be the way it is supposed to work, but it is what it is.
Well, the BE lost VT, Miami and BC filling the slots with USF, Cincy and Louisville...not exactly an even trade.
The MWC would counter saying it is adding Southern Miss (CUSA 11 champs), ECU (CUSA 08, 09 champs) and Tulsa (who has played for CUSA championship numerous times and finished ranked in 2010). They would also counter that granting the AQ access would give more programs access to AQ games. Finally, it can argue that programs like New Mexico, Colorado State, Tulane, Memphis and UAB have all hired new coaches and are trying to improve their programs.

Except for the fact that both UL AND UC won BE conference Championships. UL also won the Orange Bowl BCS.

Nice facilities and at least a small share of Dallas/FT Worth market. i mean there must be a lot of NT grads in Dallas/FT Worth right?
Correct, but NT still is basically a commuter school. Meaning lots of students that are not interested in sports programs.
Pot. Meet. Kettle.
SMU does not have lots of students. But I cannot argue attendance issues.
However, I was just pointing out to the OP that having a lot of students, does not guarantee a lot of fans. That was all.
