RE: 2012 Nonconference games
For UL we have
@Florida, @Oklahoma State, and Home vs Tulane and an FCS opponent to be named. This gives us the ability to go no worse than 1-3 OOC, and a very good chance of 2-2 again.

Austin peay
@Alabama
Southern Miss
@ Kentucky

I could see us coming away 1-3. 2-2 or 3-1 depending on if the team still has a chip on the shoulder. I think we finally beat Kentucky and southern miss Has turn over this year and could be down......Alabama .....yeah that's a no brainer and Austin peay is really really bad!

ULM gets @Arkansas, @Auburn, Baylor at home, and @Tulane.

If RG3 stays at Baylor then it'll be interesting since Baylor is coming to Malone Stadium on September 22nd (they'd be the first ranked BCS team to come to Monroe). We'd expect a possible sellout and lots of press. If he jumps to the NFL then it'll still be a good game.

Sigh. Oregon was scheduled before last season began...ESPN asked us to switch into that game and in exchange televised the FIU game. Whats his name had agreed to it because he thought it would be an excellent learning experience for the players, they could see what an offense of almost the same type looked like with top talent.

Nebraska has been scheduled for years...a 2 year deal that started with a game a couple years ago...

This may be the last home game we get against Memphis for a while...we return a trip to Memphis in 2013, and then there is nothing scheduled after that, and if we continue to dominate the games, I dont see Memphis being eager to keep it up.

And Texas Southern at home. I don't know who exactly thought having one home game in OOC and it being Texas Southern of all schools in the second year of the stadium was a good idea, but it doesn't make sense to me. There was some talk about getting out of either the Houston or KSU game next year, but I highly doubt that will actually happen. We will see, still 1-3 in OOC doesn't bode well for bowl chances.

I like that you guys play Oregon. It's nice to play somebody different as oppose to the typical SEC team.

Geez, when are we going to stop brutalizing ourselves. That has the potential to get us to max 1-3 in non-conference play. We better be recruiting some immediate impact players.

The NT OOC schedule is:

@ Louisiana State
Texas Southern
@ Kansas State
TBD

The fourth OOC will presumably be a home game against an FBS opponent. NT does not play @ Houston in 2012.

Next year is an awesome year for Troy OOC wise. That is if we improve drastically from this year.

FAU has Georgia, Alabama & Navy so far.

I thought USA was going to start playing some Sun Belt Teams next year, but I guess it is 2013... since they are on our schedule then.

We play 8 Sun Belt games next year (everybody except WKU). Playing at Hawaii allows us the 13th game.
