Go get him CJJ. I remember watching him play during one of those early tv games. Kid has talent.

I really think that no matter whether the new OC is CJJ or someone from outside, a spread-option attack that will require a QB that can run and throw. I think CJ is mobile enough to do it and I know Myles is and Finley supposedly will be added to the mix as well.
Whitlow would be a great addition as well as he is a highly ranked dual threat QB (Completed 60% of passes for 514 yards, 7 TD's 0 Int and rushed for 693 yards, 7.5 yards per carry, 13 TDs). He's such a good athlete that he could contribute at other positions if QB didn't work out.
The same could be said for KJ Maye of Murphy who we have offered. He competed 57% of his passes for 1122 yards, 13 TDs, 7 Int and rushed 1041 yards, 5.4 yards per carry with 8 TDs.
Don't forget we also have Grant Powell who is another dual threat guy. As a senior he hit on 50% of his passes for 1702 yards with 10 TDs and 9 INT. He rushed for 488 yards and 11 TDs averaging 5.3 yards per carry. At a combine he ran a very respectable 4.76 second 40 yard dash.
I believe Whitlow will end up at Ole Miss, though. He's good enough to play there and Hugh Freeze will probably need to bring in some of his Ark State recruits for this first class.

I saw KJ Maye at Murphy 2 times vs Mcgill this year. He is fast as H_ll and he ran their Wing-T offense well. But i was not as Impressed with his throwing ability. Same for Finley. He was the Spanish Fort Offense his senior year, but he wasnt a thrower. I just dont see him as a college QB.

KJ's an explosive player. Fast and elusive, and really sudden, but he looks like a slot receiver to me.

I'm still hoping for our Prattville connection to grow!
