I'd say Bryan Kelly leaving his CMU team early for Cincinnati and then leaving his Cincinnati team early for Notre Dame has worked out just fine...

The word out of Oxford is he has accepted the deal. So it makes sense ASU would have a team meeting tonight. Best of luck to Coach Freeze in Oxford, he is going to need some.

Its about to get really ugly. ASU fans are beginning to call Freeze a traitor. Our own supposed Rivals reporter decided to announce today that he is moving to the Razorbacks and has spent the past 3 hours talking about how terrible ASU is and how we deserve all of whats coming to us. Our Scout reporter is likely to leave soon as well and follow freeze to Ole Miss

Wow....I wish ASU the best in the apparent storm coming to Jonesboro in the next hours. I really wish Freeze would stay until the Bowl game....

James won't follow Freeze to Ole Miss Scout because Yancey already owns it. That is not going to happen, unless he goes to work for Yancey.

What a crap ending. The guy comes in and makes it happen at stAte and is gone in less then a year.

Im sure Ole Miss will want him now as well, there is a very narrow recruiting window open and new coachs have to hit the trail.

Pelini is meeting with FAU's players, coachs, and student goverment today. He will have the presser tommorrow and is expected to start staffing and recruiting on Tuesday.

Freeze meets with ASU players at 7:15 am tomorrow to announce he is leaving. Ole Miss has scheduled a team meeting for 2pm tomorrow.

I expect both schools will hold press conferences tomorrow.

He was covering Tennessee, of course he has no personal ties to ASU. Freeze didn't bring him over, he had contacts with Freeze and his staff and took advantage of an opportunity to make money with those contacts. Coaches don't bring over their own people with Scout or Rivals.
BCS sites make a hell of lot more money then SBC sites.

Its going to be a very long week in ASU land. Thakfully we have a small but dedicated group of assistants who Roberts brought in who have been here for years. Its doubtful they follow Freeze.

Interim coach will likely be Tom Allen, who is one Of Freeze's best friends and the LB coach. However Allen is in his first year of FBS coaching, and its not for sure that Freeze will bring him over. expect ASU to interview him for the HC job, he's one of our top recruiters. David Gunn RB Coach and Maurice Harris TE coach would be the other choices, both have been here since Roberts came.
