But WE were the cocky ones? Seriously. We got blamed for a ucf fans thread pimping our team last week.

Hubris.

Your turn stAte.

I say no.

Nice try.

Asking the question is not hubris.

The only stAte fan to answer the question said we would not. I say the same.

So the arrogant, bush league, trick play running, Red Wolves fans are 2-0 saying ASU won't cover.

Now the humble Cajun response to the Hang 40 thread.

You are right 32.28 points per game isn't even close to 40.

Good thing we don't need to hit 40 to win this one.

WKU scored more than 30 once all season - in overtime.

Cajuns have scored less than 30 once all season, week 2, in the rain at Kent.

CajunT said WKU toughest game left on the schedule outside Monroe and added the nut kick smilie (interpret as you like)

Tuffguy indicated it would be a tough game because of WKU's fight.

I think the complaints of hubris have been pointed in the wrong direction.

As I said, this will be addressed at the appropriate time brother. But there is mounting evidence that ASU fans are closet chest pounders, its just so happens that a few found the testicles to come out this past week, even on the Cajun's website.

Wow . . . so much is inferred that is not implied . . . you (some of you) cajuns are a trip!

I think the Red Wolves cover. I'm wrong on these things ~50% of the time.

When you think about it - the odds of stAte covering are much greater than those of UNT winning the game outright - yet I don't see those UNT folks calling for an upset in the prediction thread being called out. I guess fans of the 1st place team have different standard of conduct?

It's all in good fun! 04-cheers

Im not sure whats gotten them cocky, but CajunT is reacting to one of our posters who went on their board yesterday and started a UL vs ULL debate, and then called them all idiots.

The only difference is that we are locked in a battle for control of the conference. It is what you perceive want it to be. Hell some people perceived that "will hang 40 thread" as coming from us. I still haven't seen any apologies on that one - not that I'm asking anyway.

I'm just poking fun at the notion that we're the only one's that are forced to wear the black hats around here. Especially since it seems like everybody was in a rush to label us the worst team in the country before the season started. Then when our record didn't fit that narrative, there were more discounts taken on our record than your average going out of business sale.

Good luck to stAte, until Nov. 12th.

Editing - to also add that most the time I'm full of ****. So take that for what its worth as well.

I AGREE.

Before anyone takes this all too seriously, remember, we're talking about a game here.

Make it three ASU fans that says the Red Wolves will not cover the spread this week. All I want is a win. The margin doesn't matter at all.

It seems like every week one Sun Belt teams pulls off an upset over one of our top teams. I'm not saying this is North Texas' week, but it could happen. We are improving, and I don't see any way ASU beats us by 16.

If Dunbar can gain more rushing yards than Aplin ... Mr. Aplin, then NT wins.

RE: stAte vs. UNT
As an ASU fan, I can say we have some extreme fans that will predict 11-1 or 12-0 seasons, but I can also say that generally speaking we have some very humble fans. We've seen our share of late-season collapses so I think that changes the dynamic.

Even now, I guarantee our fans are saying "we've been at the 6-win mark before, the 7th one has been the illusive one."
