Mr. Scrub is Mr. Gimp now - only practices 1 or 2 days before taking off a day for swelling. Should be much easier to guard this year.

that sucks. having had my left knee scoped twice because of hoops I hate to hear that for him.

Brady says he'll be 100% by the start of the season. But I have my doubts.

You lose your best 4 receivers to graduation/draft, then lose your two best to compliance/other reasons, then have injuries on a depleted offensive line.

League non-conference record says league is up this year.

WKU didn't contribute to that stat any. We wait until the conference season to decide to play well. One of these days we will win an OOC game... against an FCS team... at home.

Yeah, the year looked a lot more promising at the beginning for both teams. I think it's a combination of both. Troy and Middle both played well with the "big boys" but looked overwhelmed by some SBC opponents... I believe the SBC's improving. Should be different for Middle next year, with an experienced junior quarterback in Logan Kilgore (who we've seen streaks of greatness from, including his 19-19 passing streak to start game against FAU, which is a school record). Defense needs to get a lot better... Because our offense is pretty good and our defense is pretty bad.
