These guys are sharing their opinions as to which is going to be the best conference between (get this) the BE, CUSA and the MAC.

I hope we can all learn a valuable lesson from this and just say no to drugs.

hey, from what i understand most posters felt the big east was better than the rest of the conferences mentioned. most sane people would agree that yall are better at the moment. but if you are so reactionary and need your ego stroked that much, then stick to the syracuse boards and get a hooker. that should take care of both. by the way, whats up louisville, cincy. and south florida? havent seen yall in a while hope that new check is doing you good. best of luck. bye

Gee, TX Tiger, go a little easy without being so reactionary! I'm one of the guys on here who would like to see Memphis in the BE, and I want people to like Memphis fans. As far as the new members' checks, I think, at this point, it's probably still costing them money. Somewhere down the road, there will be a payoff.

What part of Texas are you living in? I'm in SE TX myself, but I took a vacation last week and saw much of the state, 2148 miles worth and two time zones. Gosh, what a gigantic state we live in!

Its obvious that you are on crack too if you think that most of those posters are correct in their views aboout the BE. Most of those posts are delusional. If you dont like whats being said about your posters on this board, then audios amigos.

I dont like some of the nonsense on CUSA boards about the BE, but I dont see the need to attack anyone on their boards about their opinions on the BE. Its their board, they can say what they want, no matter how delusional it is. I just read some of that nonsense and laugh to myself. Thats it. I think you should try that approach. Your life would probably much more fulfilling. :D

BTW. You are obviously reacting more strongly than anyone about this. You should heed your own advice. And you seem to know alot about hookers.

Cuse,

I think we all know the Big East is much better than C-USA. It is pretty obvious the C-USA schools have a chip on their shoulders where the Big East is concerned.

It is just a crying shame the Big East doesn't have more of this "cocky" atitude. WV fans still seem to have a lot of fire in them, but most Cuse and Pitt fans seem to still be shell shocked over the ACC raid. Rutgers has too much of a history of losing and UConn is just too new to be able to boast much.

Ville fans are cocky , arrogant, and we don't know our place. We don't care this is going to be our first season in a "true" BCS conference, we will still tell you why we are better than you are. I for one, wish more schools had this outlook. As a conference, we really need it.

I agree. You don't have to trash C-USA or the other conferences but you definitely should have a chip on your shoulder and be cocky. That's why I'm a little unpopular over there, because I'm going to stand up for the Big East. Statistically the Big East was the 5th best football conference in America last year and had 6 teams in bowl games. The conference may not have been together but that counts towards the conference. That's something to be proud of, so you can't tell me the Big East isn't a strong conference. It's a BCS conference, and a solid BCS conference, I don't care what C-USA or ACC or MAC or MWC fans think. As far as respect goes the Big East has some work, as far as keeping our BCS bid the conference doesn't have nearly the work people think. If Louisville and Pitt maintain their preseason rankings and a few other Big East teams mae bowl games and receive Top 25 votes, the conference is fine. The conference is also young, and next year you can expect West Virginia, South Florida, Cincinnati and Connecticut to suddenly jump up a notch higher then where they are because of maturity, especially UC and UConn who are VERY young. South Florida and West Virginia have talent to do something this year. Rutgers is a mystery, I think they have the talent and underachieved last year. But that's why I take what fans of other conferences like that with a grain of salt. I've seen Big Ten and SEC fans praising the Big East. People know, the conference is going to be fine, and lord knows after the beating the Big East has taken that we're unfortunate to be where we're at and should be proud of where we're at. We're a BCS conference, and a Big Six conference and should act like that. It doesn't mean you're thumbing your nose down at people when you do that. The C-USA and MWC fans who are upset at the Big East for thinking they're "better" then them do the same thing to MAC and WAC fans.

Actually, I'd say the fact SU, Pitt, and WVU internet fans view Cards' fans as cocky, arrogant, and not knowing their place is evidence that same cockiness and arrogance is in them as well. 03-wink

Cheers,

Rutgers history is actually more of one that was average not losing. And thats average by yesterday's standards which by today's standards equal minor to midlevel bowls just about every year prior to 1993. Thats when the bottom fell out thanks to Fred Gruniger and Terry Shea although in 93 it was still Doug Graber. Then Mulcahy came in and now we have Greg Schiano the man who I'm very confident will lead us to a National Championship someday.

We never considered ourselves 'have nots'. We considered ourselves slighted and pissed off that we weren't included from the get go in a BCS conference.
