Schedule of Events

Campus Continental Breakfast
7:45 – 9 a.m.
UC Baseball Stadium

A complimentary breakfast will be provided to all UC students, faculty and staff. All in attendance will receive a new UC/BIG EAST hat.

The program will include BIG EAST Commissioner Michael Tranghese, UC President Dr. Nancy Zimpher, UC Director of Athletics Bob Goin.

Downtown Celebration
Noon – 1p.m.
Fountain Square

Inflatable games with prizes, including UC/BIG EAST hats, pins and 2005 UC football tickets.

Appearing will be City of Cincinnati officials, BIG EAST Commissioner Michael Tranghese, UC President Dr. Nancy Zimpher, UC Director of Athletics Bob Goin, UC coaches and the Bearcat.

See performances by the UC Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and national champion Dance Team.

Concert and Fireworks
8 – 10 p.m.
UC Baseball Stadium

Gates open at 7 p.m. for the UC Kids Zone with inflatable games and play areas.

Giveaways include hats for the first 1,000 in attendance. Concessions will include $1 hot dogs, drinks and snacks.

Live music from Only Everything, The Avenues and The Mistics followed by CCM students performing a patriotic salute.

Also performing will be the UC Marching Band, Cheerleaders, and national champion Dance Team.

The program will include BIG EAST Commissioner Michael Tranghese, UC President Dr. Nancy Zimpher, UC Director of Athletics Bob Goin, along with appearances by UC Coaches and The Bearcat.

The evening will conclude with a spectacular Fireworks show provided by the Rozzi Family beginning at approximately 10 p.m.
