The above-named is georgia tech swagger. How does a non-BIGEAST member become an administrator on a BIGEAST board and then talk smack about a member school, WEST VIRGINIA? I was just curious.

Oh no Batman, it's another non-BE poster, but I'm here and I read it so I'll answer.
Posters who are in the Admin group are the ones who created, maintain, and pay for all of NCAAbbs. They generally don't 'moderate' boards.
Each school and conference board has it's own moderators (who are fans of said school/conference) who are given the task of maintaining order on that board.
That's about it in a nutshell.

Agreed, there are plenty of moderators and the boards are not restricted to just fans of each school or conference. Who's to say moderators can't also post as fans?
And with respect to the incident referred to, I think the degree of "smack" is debatable, especially given the amount of knocking other posters on this board give the ACC and select schools. It all stemmed from one misunderstanding over what IIRC stood for and both parties placing a lot of undue weight on the US News rankings.
I vote we tone down the paranoia and get back to sensible discussion.
