Our window on the MAC title has closed. You can not stop people you are subject to upset at any time. Kent St - Ball St - BG - CMU become tough games going in with no D. Wisc - WMU & TurdU have to score 40+ to have a chance.

Have a beer, some fun and watch our scoreboard catch fire with all the points.

I did not realize that Kansas was a MAC team.

Remember what happened to Toledo in 2004? They started the season giving up 63 points to Minnesota. One week later they gave up 63 more points to Kansas. I remember thinking, "So much for Toledo. It looks like this is the Huskies' year". And how did Toledo finish in 2004? They went to the MCC.

As bad as the Huskie D played on Saturday, they did better than the '04 Rockets, and the '04 Rockets won the division. On the whole, the '11 Huskies are also off to a better start than the '10 version.

After two games:

2010 Huskies 1-1 33 PF 44 PA
2011 Huskies 1-1 91 PF 71 PA

Some of you people are real idiots.

The defense literally couldn't have played any worse on Saturday and we were still one play away from winning at a Big 12 school, and that was without Melvin.

Our offense is unstoppable. Unstoppable.

Very true. And I hadn't realized Melvin was out the whole game.

Maybe because we couldn't see the players numbers at the snap of each play due to the fantastic broadcast quality.

Still wondering why the 2 infomercials had a better picture than the game.

RE: Win the MACC
  • Go 2-2 OOC
  • Have one (or zero) losses in MAC play
  • Potential L cannot be @ Toledo
  • Win the MACC.
  • Play tough in a bowl game, W or L.
  • Harnish MAC the POTY

That season would potentially be the most successful season in recent NIU football memory. And all is still well, well within reach.
