Completely Agree. I don't think any body was complaining about the D after the Army game. And if you want to complain about the 4th quarter against Army, C'mon, DD was using back-ups.
The Kansas games exposed the unit's weaknesses. As NIU007 said, we will see how good DD is if he can see the holes and make appropiate personnel changes and scheme changes.
There is some talent out there. There is a reason why Army was held to 6 points for 3 quarters. And not to beat a dead horse, but we had 2 return starters and the top 4 replacements for the open positions are out for this year, plus we have a first year coach. There is bound to be some bad times before they get better.

this entire postings are rediculous. Offense in college footbal are ahead of defenses. Just look at the box scores. Look at the ND Mich game. This board is ok, as long as we win every game.

The D misses Butler, his absence is a huge factor IMO. It's a shame, the O is primed this year for success and the lack of depth on D could be the Huskies undoing.
