Didn't see this until now, but I hope a good amount of people try out. Even without recruiting all you have to do is spend a little time at the Rec Center to know that their is some FINE talent on this campus...whether they'd be willing to clean it up to play on the team is the question.

Start handing out flyers to any tall person on campus....

Make all those trying out sign a 2 year contract.

Yeah, I got schooled by those people at the rec before. then again, I am probably the worst basketball player ever who is still a pretty good athlete

I think that NIU should get rid of the basketball and add the hockey .. the hockey team is actually good

and you think basketball attendance has been bad? who goes to hockey games except polar bears? When this new bball staff turns it around and put excitement back into Huskie hoops, that hockey statement will seem bizarre.
