Good week for the Belt
So if I am counting correctly the Sun Belt went 4-4 this weekend. Would I have liked to see Middle, WKU, UNT, and FAU pull out their games? Of course, but I felt like we won the games we were supposed to win(Grambling, Memphis) and pulled out some of the more challenging ones(Louisville, Kent State). Hopefully the conference can build on this weekend and continue to make strides.

One final note, I watched part(and all of most) of every game but the ULL game thanks to ESPN 3, which was amazing.

The MAC streamed the Kent State game online. Not exactly ESPN3, but it did the job.

RE: Good week for the Belt
Great week for our teams, I was really happy when I saw the ASU/Memphis score at the game, way to go wolves. We did about as much as you could ask of us against Houston. We actually got a sack and a turnover on the first series. A SACK AND A TURNOVER. FOR NORTH TEXAS. The D-line play is pourus, no doubt about it, but I have been waiting 6 years to see that.

Great time all around, in the end, Houston's talent was too much, but I had a great time. Despite the absolute lack of class by Houston fans(F*** UNT chant when they were up 41-17, purposely trying to antagonize our students) I didn't let it bother me, they still have to go back to their homes in Houston. And that's enough for me to bypass their lack of class.

The tailgating and atmosphere was unlike anything I had seen here in six years(my short time as a fan). Everything about today was Division 1. Like a real college. Make sure you come early and tailgate. There is no shortage of friendly people, and all the food and beer you could want.

GO MEAN GREEN/GO MT/GO SUN BELT
