Im in there for sure, got tickets already from a player, Im excited after last weeks game!

Cool, we're staying at the Holiday right by Arrowhead.

I am going with a group of 3 or 4. I think we're leaving Friday afternoon, stopping in Des Moines, then heading into Lawrence Saturday morning. Go Huskies!!!

My friend and I are taking the 12:50 flight, Southwest, from Milwaukee on Friday. Flying back from KC on Sunday morning . We are staying on campus with friends from KU. Let's all find a bar on campus to meet up and hopefully celebrate a Huskie victory after the game.

I will be with my son at NIU's baseball camp all day Saturday, just a few feet from Huskie Stadium. Right place, wrong day. Fortunately the camp ends at 5 PM so we can watch the game. Wish I could do the road trip.

There is a KC, KS and a KC, MO.
Hope you all have a safe trip, and enjoy Lawrence. For those driving to the game there is parking all around the stadium on the side streets in people's yards. If you get there super early put your drinks in a solo cup.
(I live in Elgin, IL so I should be around quite a few Huskie fans while watching this game! )

Sounds like the coaches and players will have just under 100 of their family and friends that live in the greater area attending the game.

Have a wonderful time in Lawrence, KS, folks. It's too bad most of you are staying in Kansas City. The drive isn't bad, but Lawrence is a great place to take in the entire weekend. Make sure you hit Mass St (downtown) and get a good bite to eat and a beer at Free State Brewery.

The only bars next to campus and near the stadium are The Wheel (generally featured on College Gameday when they are in town), The Hawk, and Rick's. They are solid game day bars.

You should have no problem finding parking so long as you arrive at a reasonable time, but plan on bringing $20 or $30 to grab a spot. If you are willing to walk, you can find some $10 spots.

We do the alma mater and Rock Chalk about 10-15 minutes before game time. It may not mean much to you, but for true KU fans it's a real treat.
