What surprised me is that there might not be a FBS quarterback between the three FBS schools in the state of Kentucky.

Louisville JR QB Will Stein 17-32 226 yds 2 TDs against Murray State

The QB troubles of WKU and UK have already been discussed ad nauseum.

I in NO way saw UNT getting demolished like they did.

I knew FIU was good and would probably winwin, but to be honest I expect confrence matchups to be a least competative. As I said in Chat last night, after going up by 28 in the 1st quarter this game was like a SEC blow out vs a 'Belt team, and not a Belt vs Belt matchup.

FIU took UNT to the woodshed and UNT had no way to get out of it.

That is a HUGE understatement FIU was clearly the dominant team. Good luck for the rest of the year. You represent the conference well !

Thank you MG61, we at FIU are really excited for this year. Though you are responding to Owlfamily's post, I assume you meant FIU. I can see how you would get confused though, OwlFamily is one of our most dedicated followers (deep down, he bleeds blue and gold)

FIU is damn good. I don't think we'll be the only team they blow out this season.

I was surprised by TY posing for the Heisman after 1 game...

I was really disappointed that the Sun Belt had a very good chance of making a name against the SEC and blew it. Troy, FAU, ASU and maybe a couple of other Sun Belters seem to get their payday games when the opponents are national championship caliber (Like Troy every year and FAU this year). I sure wish one of them would have had a shot at Kentucky last night, beating the Wildcats something like 34-7.

I figured that WKU would hang with UK....but UNT.....I never saw that coming at all!
