Freshman of the Year Candidates
I'm interested to see which freshman is going to stand out for your team.

For ASU, the obvious choice is RS FR Frankie Jackson (RB). We're ready to see him in action.

WR Chandler Worthy or WR Bryan Holmes. Coaches really like these guys.

RE: Freshman of the Year Candidates
WR Jamal Robinson and RB Alonzo Harris from the Cajuns. According to the few first hand reports from people I trust when it comes to football talent these guys are monsters at their positions.

Robinson is the best WR the Cajuns have ever signed IMO, he has it all size, speed, soft hands and is as polished a WR as a true frosh that I have ever seen in a Cajun uniform.

Harris was rated as the #2 ranked fullback in the nation according to scout and he has far exceeded expectations and has been compared to a larger more explosive version of Fenroy.

Now, I seriously doubt any of the Cajuns freshmen will receive any post season awards, but those two IMO will have the biggest impact on offense for the Cajuns. They are not the saviors of Cajun football, that will be on the shoulders of the newcomers on defense.

The Cajuns will probably play 10-12 true freshmen this season with the majority of them being on D.

Holmes is nursing a back injury, so I'll say C. Worthy and BJ Chitty...laugh now...cry later

Watched Frankie at Capital High in several games, very explosive. BTW, he played with Cajun QB in waiting Broadway.

For the Warhawks I'd nominate PR/WR Tyler Cain. He will be our next Luther Ambrose. Cain's already taken Ambrose's spot as punt returner.
