Former Raider in middle of controversial MLB blown call
Michael McKenry, former MT catcher, called up by the Pirates earlier this season, tagged the Braves runner, but the call was the runner was safe. It created a lot of talk yesterday and still being talked about today as the use of instant replay for reviewing plays is called for...

As a Troy and Pirates fan two screw jobs in one year is a little hard to deal with.

I have to say one of my first thoughts when I heard about this was that McKenry's exposure to Sun Belt officiating during his time as a Blue Raider probably prepared him better than most to deal with this kind of thing.
