They just don't listen to anything you say honestly. They went back to 1899 to say that they had an undefeated record? While D1, 9-27 overall against Toledo, 2-17 in the glass bowl, 10 winning seasons since 1991, while we've had 15. They have had 1 MACC and we have like 10? Yet NIU is better than Toledo.

I understand that there is resentment on the part of some Toledo fans on the game last year, but what is the point of harassing NIU fans on their own board? Just take the loss like men, NIU was not trying to run up the score, it is just Toledo's defense is so bad, it was hard not to score. I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but instead of cutting down NIU fans and attacking them, focus on your own team and try to do better in this year's game. I understand how that game demoralized you as fans, but it is time to move on.

If someone from here is causing problems there, that's not representative but not much we can do about it here, is there? As far as fans being "demoralized" by the loss to NIU that doesn't seem to be the case based upon posting. The game rarely gets mentioned.

The OOC conference games get mentioned as poor performances but as for NIU, people here seem to give the Huskies their due. Kudos, NIU gave great effort last year, played a great game.

Anyone remember the 2007 game vs NIU? We beat them 70-21.

Yeah, you guys were definitely running up the score last year but it's okay because we did the same to you in 2007. Just trying to make a point.

NIU was playing with half its starters in that game, so that result was to be expected. My only point was there is no need for the jealousy being expressed by many Toledo fans, and to be so bitter about it. There is always a chance you could make it closer next year. It is better to forget about the past and move on.

No resentment here. Most UT fans were pleased last year in Beckman's second season of rebuilding with the Rockets going 7-1 in the MAC, a win over rival BGSU, and an OOC win @Purdue. This year UT is picked by Phil Steele, Graham Watson, etc. to win the MAC West, inspite of the MAC's 2nd toughest schedule. Believe me more Huskie fans were upset last season by being favored by 17.5 point in the MACC against Miami and choking than UT fans with losing in DeKalb.

Hard to get jealous of a team you almost always beat. Or of their fans who whimper about the notion of staying in perfectly safe downtown Toledo or who come here and talk trash after being treated respectfully and given solid info re: places to stay, eat, etc. Those kind of people sort of define the word "troll".

Nice to see that some NIU fans aspire to be better than Toledo. I think most Rocket fans enjoy the growing rivalry with the Huskies.

It seems to me that if there is a complaint about Toledo fans "trolling" the NIU board, the proper avenue of redress is the "Report This Post" button. Huskies have at least one of their own who is a "super moderator" as well as their own mod. Coming here to flame isn't the solution.

They don't listen. When someone makes a point and then we come back at them, they disreguard it and move on. And they won't bring up the overall series record. They find a website with some ranking all time. And I find one that says Toledo will win the MAC west. But the one I found is apparently run by homers for Toledo. Even tho the point to made is that a website isn't always right, it's just a judgement thing. I'm tired of it. I'm just gonna shut up.

Wow. Really? What a lame excuse. Even with your so called half starters gone, you really expected to give up 70 points???? If that is true, then you need to reconsider your lifestyle.

What's funny is that Maddawgz thinks that many UT fans are jealous of NIU. Umm yeah, 10 MAC Championships to 1.

Well we were 3-9 to their 2-10 so it obviously should have been a 50 point game.
