#76 of 100 Moments In Time....... UNT vs Florida State game at Fouts in Denton played in near blizzard conditions.

In near blizzard-like conditions at Fouts Field, the Mean Green and Florida State played one of the more memorable games in either school's history in 1976. Despite a missed extra point and a botched fake field goal in the fourth quarter the Mean Green still clung to a 20-13 lead.

That's when first-year coach Bobby Bowden's Seminoles went on a 10-play 69-yard touchdown drive to bring his team to within a point. With the game on the line, the Seminoles connected on a two-point conversion with 2:13 remaining to beat North Texas by a point, 21-20.

The Seminoles consider this one of the program's "landmark" road games, and even feature it in their "sod cemetery."

Official attendance for the game was listed at 3,850 at Fouts Field
