We are in FBS, 1-1 and play Air Force at home this week and Washington on the road next week. Our QB is #12 in passing yards in the nation and we are averaging 511 yards Total Offense (#27). So yeah I can laugh now.
Ah come on...you've won one game in forever (to include pee-wee schools) and needed a miracle to beat that new FCS program in front of a few thousand fans. We were beating two BCS teams in the 4th the past couple years and played Virginia Tech at VT closer than #8 Ohio State played them in Columbus but it's not about with whom we dance but how we perform. Same 'ol Panama. LOL

And most of America cant fid you on a map. LOL.
Same ole Tribal trying to tell us FBS was a mistake. When I am sitting at the 50 yard line at Turner Field in a couple of years, I'll drink a cold one to ya. LOL

I see you had enough sense to delete your previous post. Good call.

I do not think going to the Sun Belt was a mistake. It's the best thing that ever happened to the CAA and a great move for GA State for the next couple years. I believe you'll have tickets on the 50 yard line as your attendance the first two games in the 2014 FBS season wouldn't even come close to filling W&M's Zable Stadium. And, we all know about GA State's inflated attendance numbers, don't we? Judging by your attendance, you could probably stand on the sideline. LOL

The 2nd oldest school and elite academic university and most of America can't find us on a map? Please tell me you think more people have heard of GA State University than W&M.

Just for fun, I entered Atlanta, GA in Google Maps. With one zoom in, I saw Clark ATL, something called Morris Brown University, Emory, and GT. I needed to zoom in 4 times before GA State popped up. Who knew a person could find Morris Brown on a map before GA State? Try it for yourself. LOL

#RisingTribe

LOL! Still delusional after all these years? You could zoom in with a microscope and not find the CAA. The bolded part was funny thought. Would read and laugh again.

And enjoyed the pic of attendance taken so early that nobody is on the field and the band isnt in the stands. LOL

I am glad that you're still part of that group that fantasizes about our attendance. As I have told so many lately, I have seen literally dozens of schools from FCS though the G5 and even some P5 schools openly lie about attendance. I have seen Heinz Field, Sun Life Stadium and RJS empty or 2/3 empty for games. Other than the top 40 or 50 programs everyone else should shut up about attendance. Other than ECU there isnt anyone sun P5 who talk attendance smack.

RE: Bill Curry continues to build Georgia State program
Panama, when Doug Roberson asked your AD about the woeful attendance and how you'd make the minimum, she said donors would buy the necessary amount to reach that minimum. Doug mentions a grand total of 300 Panther students attending games. 33,000 students and 300 attend?

BTW, the pic I posted is from Doug's article. Want one with the band? Ok.

I haven't thought about GA State since you blessed the CAA with your disappearance. Had you not posted on a CAA forum, we wouldn't even have had this discussion.

You've won two games in the past three years, you have much more to worry about. Best of luck to ya...keep believing, bro!

RE: Bill Curry continues to build Georgia State program
You think I don't know how many games we have won in 2 years? There is hardly a bigger critic of the program than me. You think there might be some correlation between winning and attendance? You think Doug is so obsessed with our attendance that he keeps posting pics of the visitor side and asking for actual attendance when no program posts that? Funny that nobody posts pics of USF or USM attendance that has been equally bad in the same period. You think it had something to do with Cox bleeding Red and Black here in Atlanta? We shall be just fine. As I have been saying (for 2 years), 2015 is the year. Oh and I am not the one that revived this thread. LOL.

I miss the General Board on the Zone so much sometimes. What a blast from the past this thread has been.

Hey, if games were only 30 minutes long, Georgia State would've shocked the world this past weekend! Unfortunately for fake GSU, games are 60 minutes long....unless you're ODU.

And yet, our record against the FCS this season (2-1) is better than GaSt's these past two seasons.

Good luck on getting that first FBS win, it's bound to happen sometime this decade.

All Dukes, how's your attendence so far? I heard you had well over 20,000 for the Towson game. Was it even your HC game? I watched part of the game on TV...crowd looked great and you guys really laid it on Towson.

Avg around 21k...Not bad considering three of the games have had rain or was raining right before game time.

Not bad for a lowly FCS team. Since fGSU plays in a dome I assume they get minimum 30k per game...because they're FBS and apparently that's all that matters. Not history, quality of football, fan experience and dignity.
