I am not a big fan of the 3D process but I did see Green Lantern in 2D and it was a fun movie. I did see Thor and a couple of other movies in 3D. I thought Thor was good but I wish I had just watched in 2D.

RE: OT: Green Lantern in 3D
I'm not big on the superhero movies at all, but just got back from it (they filmed it here in new orleans and my girlfriend did extra work in it)...

I wasn't a huge fan of all the computer generated graphics (there was a LOT) but it did make the 3-D look VERY good

Haven't seen Green Lantern, will probably wait for video. Want to see Xmen first class.

Watched Super 8 last weekend, thought it was REALLY good, but frustratingly short of being a classic.

RE: OT: Green Lantern in 3D
I know opinions are like buttholes... everyone's got one, but:

I thought Green Lantern was ok. Not a bad movie, not a great movie... just a good movie. It wasn't quite as good as I thought it was going to be. I did see it in 2-D though, as I needed the time slot the 2-D movie was in. I'd probably watch it again.

I liked X-Men First Class a lot better than Green Lantern. It was better than I thought it'd be. I'd watch this movie again.

I didn't think Super 8 was all that good. The beginning was slow, and there was a LOT of filler that added no value of the movie. Worth watching, yeah. But I wouldn't buy this movie, nor would I care to watch it again.
