That's the thing - the old Big Ten and MWC logos were fantastic. Now, the Big Ten obviously had the practical consideration of going from 11 to 12, but for a conference with several of the best marketing departments in the country, the new logo is uninspiring at best. I really don't know why the MWC bothered with getting a new logo at all - there wasn't any reason to make a change outside of making a change for the sake of change.

I always considered it to be a rather weak logo.

I like it. It's short, sweet, and to the point, without all that fancy BS that some people think they need to impress the rest of the nation. The SEC lets its play impress the nation...

Pac 12 new logo is sick. Love it.

ACC looks cheap to me. Big 10 obviously sucks. MW looks completely misplaced as a sports logo. Big east looks too much like the C-USA one.

I would have rated the old Mountain West as the very best. Also would have ranked the old Big Ten logo a lot higher.

Couple random notes about the logos posted in the op: I'm guessing the full "B1G Ten" logo has unofficially been pushed into a closet. All the marketing that I've noticed as had the black and blue B1G logo (without the word Ten). That's at least a slight improvement.

The SEC's main logo I believe is the one that just says SEC surrounded by a circle. It is what's on their website anyway.

I like the MAC logo and think it will hold up well over time, the only problem is that green isn't a power color. Clearly, having blue as your primary color automatically makes you a BCS conference, except that the Big 12 has stolen CUSA's spot.

The MAC logo changes to the home teams' colors when displayed on fields and uniforms.

I didn't like the Big Tin logo with the hidden 11 in it. All it did was point out that folks in the Big Tin can't count...

Yea, but you're not an SEC booklicker.

RE: Since the MWC new logo is aweful... Rank the Rest
The OP has the outdated SEC and CUSA logos.

The "new" SEC logo is actually an older alternate logo, but 2 years ago they scrapped the diamond and went back to their roots. It can change colors with the schools. (the round one posted later). The football version of this logo also has the rounded letters (what the teams actually wear on their jerseys) but none are on the internet.

The CUSA logo hasnt been used since the expansion. It is now flat only like the ACC logo, and again, can change with schools colors. Love the star in-between.

The ACC logo in the OP, is never used. The 'ACC' letters. Or lesser ACC with Atlantic Coast Conference under it are used mostly.

The new MWC logo blows horribly.

I actually am starting to like the new BigTen logo, but only when used without the bottom, which is its primary way it will be used (again incorrect in the OP). Again, I think they'll be able to switch it with schools colors. It is getting fun to type.

The cool thing about the BigTen and the ACC is that when its written in normal typing form (B1G) and (ACC), it looks like their logos. I also wish that the Big 12 would allow their written words to be Big XII, as this would be unique to them as well ... but they don't.

The new BE logo is much better than the old one.

So here are my choices.

1. [Image: SEClogo.jpg]
[Image: SECfootball.jpg] (the rounded logo is used by the teams here in the football)

2. [Image: B1Glogo.jpg]
This would also lend itself to ease of use in the football logo. Havent seen any out there yet.

3.[Image: ACClogo.jpg]

4.[Image: CUSAlogo.jpg]

5. [Image: Pac12logo.jpg]
They do not use a "football" logo. Only the crest

6. [Image: BigXIIlogo.jpg]
[Image: BigXIIfootball.jpg] I like the roman numerals in the football. Classic look. And can change to XIV or XVI if needed. Example ...

7. [Image: BigEastlogo.jpg]
The BE does not use the FB logo on its uniforms. It uses an all white logo on its home unis and the Blue/Red logo on its away unis.
There is a football version on the net though ...[Image: BigEastfootball.jpg]

8. [Image: WAClogo.jpg]

9. [Image: sunbelt_logo.jpg]

10. [Image: MWClogo.jpg]
