Can you picture FAU guards Ray Taylor and Greg Gantt on the perimeter with a 7-foot post-player from a Big 12 program down low?

It looks like it’s going to happen because Florida Atlantic has apparently landed the services of Baylor center Dragan Sekelja.

Last night, Sekelja, a 7-footer from Croatia, told our Chuck King he has signed the paperwork necessary to make his transfer to FAU official......

Sekelja will likely have to sit out this season due to NCAA transfer rules, which he can use as a redshirt year, but will be eligible to play in the 2012-13 season as a junior.

Wow... very nice. the SBC teams just keep on landing big transfers and big recruits it seems.

We need to improve the basketball league to where it was 5/6 years ago. We can't be getting thumped as a 15 seed, or even worse losing in a play in game.

FAU and UNT have really elevated the level of their play. UL and WKU need to get back to where they used to be. UALR has always been solid. ASU made a great hire in Brady, and have great fan support. MT and Kermit are joined at the hip, but always competitive.

ULM hasn't been good and I'm not sure if Richard is the guy to change that. FIU needs to be done with Isaiah. USA and Ronnie Arrow the Sequel should be competitive.

Wright Waters needs to get some games on TV pronto. Work a deal with someone and get games on TV.

The Jag fans have been pleasantly surprised at our class this year. We hope last year was a complete aberration.

I hope Troy can get back to how they used to play in the A-Sun days. The new arena will boost recruiting and fan support.
