There was a pretty good 1975 movie about the disaster starring George C. Scott. Theorized that the Hindenburg was sabotaged, not brought down by lightning as many thought.

Looking at news reel pictures, hard to believe anyone survived.

Yup.

Although a cheap laugh related to all those deaths might provoke a little animosity in those of us who take mortality seriously.

I suppose if b5 were going to get that, he'd already have gotten it.

S'not that funny, imo. Burning alive while plunging a few hundred feet to your death is not a good way to go.
