So its time again for a fresh pickem, and yet another batch of games. For some teams, this represents their final home games of the season...make them count.

Critical Series this weekend include Troy and ULL, as teams 1 and 4 in the SBC Standings play it out. FAU and WKU as teams 2 and 5 battle it out. And ASU and USA as teams 6 and 7 battle it out

It doesn't matter as far as Regionals are concerned. They're both in; and at least one of the two between FAU and ULL. If a dark-horse wins the tourny or FAU or ULL we could get 4. If both FAU and ULL get hot down the stretch, their RPI's (50 and 53) are good enough to have them on the cusp of selection....and at least one of them will surely get in. So 3's a definate and four's a real possibility.

But more importantly they're playing for the pride of an SBC Championship.

ASU could have locked up an SBC Tourney berth this weekend, but instead our inconsistancy comes back to bite us and we give up a 4 run 9th inning lead in the 2nd game against USA.. Who became the first team this year to torch Andy Ferguson and Jacob Lee.


Thankfully MTSU and ULM got swept, which actually dropped our magic number to clinch a spot in Monroe to 3. Trouble is, we still have to play at FIU next weekend.

USA is Dr. Jekyll-Mr. Hyde this year. We lost 7 in a row (after winning 7 in a row) then swept ASU?

Great feast-or-famine weekend series between the Trojans and Cajuns...

missed this week due to illness....hope to get back on the horse for next week...wonders how the standings are looking????
