Nick Farley joining Ndomiken Tsu (I wont even try to spell that correctly) should turn some heads in the fall. (Troy fans don't read into this).

ABSOLUTELY!!!
I think Fisher would have taken Farley, but I'm glad to see them take a chance on a QB. They may not get to pick that high again, anytime soon.....or at least I hope so.

RE: OT: Discuss the Draft
Reggie Bush tweeted out last night thanking the New Orleans fans...looks like he feels he is on the way out.

I think the biggest reach in the first round was Minnesota taking Christian Ponder at 12....that was nutso

With the titans taking Locker...i wonder what that means for Rusty Smith in Tennessee????

Dont know for certain, but it was almost a given that TN would have to draft another QB. Rusty is the only one on staff at the moment. Id look for TN to grab a Vet (or resign Collins) to teach Locker and Rusty.

I think he'll get his shot to compete. From what I've read the Titans like his work ethic and feel he has the tools to get it done. I could see Locker (1) Rusty (2) and Vet (3) to coach em up. Locker and Rusty probably compliment each other both being prototypical QB's from a size standpoint.

RE: OT: Discuss the Draft
Really uncertain about the Falcons move. I think Julio Jones will definitely make an impact and lining up him on one side and Roddy White on the other is going to give defenses a lot of problems in a few years. We gave up a lot to get him, which does bothers me a little bit, but what bothers me more is I just think we should have addressed a different position, if won't add some help on defense in free agency I'll be upset, especially when you consider De'Quan Bowers was there at 27 when we would have picked in the first place.

The Titans picked a QB first, because they think the draft is loaded with good defensive players. Perhaps the Falcons thought the same thing.

I hope Bush stays with the Saints. I would think that Pierre Thomas is gone along with Deshawn Wynn.

I do not understand the Viking's pick. You spend first round money on Ponder? He did not finish the last two seasons due to injuries. He is flashy but not durable and has a tendency to be mediocre in big games.

Doesn't look good for Rusty. The money involved will keep Locker around for the immediate future.

I think the Titans will definitely get a new vet.

Thats my gut too, but Im hoping. From what I saw of Munchak's comments he did say that all of the QB's would be competeing for the job, but thats probalby just coach speak.

I doubt Rusty would or will ever be a starting QB, however he could easily be a solid #2 for any team once he develops more.
