South Alabama got a complete game from Garrett Harris to take game one from Louisiana-Lafayette, 3-1.

FIU got 20 hits tonight in beating UALR 13-1 at Little Rock.

ULM got 9 runs but the Blue Raiders had 15.

ASU gets a solo homerun from Jordan Castaldo in the 8th to beat FAU 2-1

Cory Kyle threw 5 shutout innings of relief for the 2nd straight weekend after Andy Fergson was knocked out of the game when Andy Mee hit a line drive off his pitching hand. He is heading off for precautionary XRAY's but doesnt think anything is broken.

FAU got treated to the Tomlinson Stadium treat today, a 20 mph wind blowing straight in... It brings even the best offenses to their knees.

ULL evened the series with a 7-6 victory in 11 innings.

This is gonna be fun. After yesterday's results, we have Troy in first place at 13-4, FAU in second with a 11-6 record, and WKU third at 10-7. Louisiana, South Alabama, and FIU are tied for fourth at 9-8, and we have a four way tie for 7th place with ULM, MTSU, UALR, and ASU with a 6-11 record.

MT wins series with a 6-2 win over ULM.

...and FIU beats UALR 17-7 to get the sweep of the Trojans. WKU and Troy are tied at 8 in the 7th inning, while ASU beat FAU, and UL beat South Alabama. With a win today, Troy gets "separation" from the rest and gets them that much closer to capturing the regular season crown.

ASU wins 7-3 today once again taking advantage of the tactic of having your Ace pitch on Sunday. Jacob Lee gives up 2 ER in 7 innings.

Todd Baumgartner goes 3 for 3 with a HR double and 4 RBI's

ASU hosts MTSU next weekend in a series in which the winner can gain seperation in the race for the top 8

Well, this will be my last post for a week. The Troy University Symphony Band is leaving for Vancouver, BC Canada tomorrow morning! Wish us luck!
