Thank you for all the well wishes! Hats off to North Texas and their incredibly classy fans, too. I know that was hard (see UALR/UNO in 90's) but they handled it with admirable class. Hopefully we can represent the Belt well!

As bad as I feel...what really makes me feel like garbage is knowing the seniors will never play again. Great group of guys, who obviously gave it all they had. This image of Shorter at the press conference says it all.

Well I sure feel stupid for turning this game off with a 1:30 left in the game. Congrats to UALR, unbelievable loss by UNT, really feel bad for you guys.

To the UALR fans I walked by exiting the arena, you guys sure made that loss easier to stomach. Real nice people. Wish you the best in the NCAA tourney and enjoy it. If you guys get pulled into a regional that is within driving distance, I highly recommend you get your asses in the car. It's a wonderful atmosphere.

Man, I hate to see this. As a Trojan fan I love seeing us win, but I hate that it has to be on the backs of others who are as heartbroken as we are elated. Moving image.

If UALR chooses not to start a football program they need to find a new conference home. They are the only one without it now with UNO and Denver gone. In a couple years UNT will have its program back as well...

Considering the predate many members of the league, I don't think we have the right to tell them to leave. Not cool at all. If they choose to go on their own, so be it.

I would prefer they just start a football program, and if they don't I'm not saying to throw them out in the cold...As far as the importance of how long they have been in the league, I think we have found rare thing we disagree on.

I hope we start a football program, too, but as far as I know we're not going anywhere unless we get kicked out. That or if the MVC comes calling, which ain't gonna happen.

The SBC is our home. UALR wants to be here and we have been here for a long time. We don't hurt the league by being here. We probably help it for BB scheduling.

Congratulations UALR. You goys showed up and played your game. North Texas did not. It is that simple. I wish you the best of luck in the tournament.

As for UALR being in the Belt; I've never seen or heard of any of their programs causes trouble or making negative headlines. To my understanding, they have always represented this conference well. They have no issue over their schools name, and don't fight with ASU about. Last, they've been in the Belt much longer then UNT. I hope they remain in the Sun Belt as long as they like, and I wish them nothing but the best. They have great fans.

I dont know, I heard the other day we were looking at kicking out all the schools that dont have Baseball.
