I don't know if you've been made aware of this or not, but UL is Louisville. Your school is still legally Lousiana @ Lafayette. Wasn't sure if you knew or not, just wanted to correct you.

yea, Louisiana Lafayette is our official name, and if you choose to call us that, fine. With that said, I don't see you using the same energy to defend us against people who call us ULL, ULALA or Lafayette, all of which are not our name and should not be used to refer to us.

Who do you think of with UM? Mississippi, Minnesota, Michigan, Montana, Missouri? Or UT? Tennessee or Texas? Louisville does not have exclusive rights to UL or U of L. And, official school names and athletic names are never the same for most schools.

Cool. I wouldn't count this team out, they showed early on that they have the best starting 5 in the league, but ran out of gas after starting 13-2 and having a lack of depth ended up killing us. Now we're rested and playing to potential once again. So you have fun sitting at home while we'll celebrate our 5th 20+ win season and go to our third NCAA tourney in 5 years. Make sure you watch it, we'll be the ones in the green.

It really wouldn't be a big deal to me if your boy Z didn't take the time to quote and post everytime someone says it. It's pretty annoying and tedious to do that over and over again because 99.7% of people who know you know you as UL-Lafayette. For this forum, and the sake of everyone who is tired of reading this pointless banter, I'll respect it and refer to you as Cajuns. You're ridiculous persistence over something so insignificant has won one poster over, you've only got 100k+ to go, congrats.
