Im actually not expecting a sellout of this game because of that, but I dont care we finally have a REAL home.

Are people in Fort Lauderdale even going to know it's football season by the middle of October?

Probably not.

Im not gonna sugar coat it. I think attendance will NOT be good this year. Having the first 5 games away, plus having 3 of them as Body Bags is going to kill any enthusiasm for the program from the casual football fan.

FAU didnt have any choice on this however. The stadium will NOT be ready till mid October so they had to do it this way. It sucks, no two ways about it, but getting the new stadium will be worth the pain of one year sucking.

I do however expect the attendance to INCREASE over the average from last year since its OCS and new this year. Capacity is 33K and I expect the average to be around 20K.

Fort Lauderdale? Different county, different TV/radio market.
