The thing is we are talking about a conference rivalry here. Wittels is the most famous player on the FIU team, and he went out and made a big mistake that cast him and the program in a negative light, and gave the team the type of national publicity it doesnt want
He's going to endure alot of taunts, outside of FIU. You could claim that the comments werent classy, but they are that of a typical college fan, a ULL fan at that.
Remember ULL fans, while they will taunt you like crazy every chance they get, will also be the first after the game to congratulate you on a well played game and wish you luck in the future...and thats 2 hours after making fun of your hair looks and your entire family tree...
They are typical college fans, and Wittels will hear alot worse when he gets on the road

Wow....are you mad or something? Pretty level headed for a guy that comes out as a jounalist. I was trying to be nice, but when you came out "correcting" me with this "I cover it" crap, then the lies in your story were exposed. Your story was a lie and you are mad because the more you try to deflect it, the more the lie you wrote gets to you. I'm not going to attack your university...which is not free of problems as well...nor even call your university a childish name (Monastery? really?), nor attack one of your players because of legal situations.
All of this because I caught you empty handed with a lie. Not a matter of dates, but of adding a "nice story", including quotes from your coach Hudspeth and recruit Proctor of a "future" phantom visit that Hudspeth knew, you knew, that couldn't have happened because it had already happened. Again, either you were given wrong information and someone "forgot" the guy had just visited FIU just 10 days prior, or you were part of the lie and also "forgot" the kid visited. The story doesn't add up. PERIOD. Either an incompetent in reporting a lie or/and a liar.
