RE: Whose Program will USA's Ascendency hurt most

Based on recruiting classes so far this year:
ULM: La/Ark/TX/OK
ULL: La/Miss
FIU: Fl
FAU: Fl
NT: Tx
Troy: Al/Ga/Ms
WKU: Fl
MTSU: Ga/Tn/Fl
ASU: TN/Ark
USA: AL/FL
So, those teams hitting Florida and Alabama hard will be competition for the Jaguars for the comparable athletes that we are all looking at in recruiting. Now, FIU and FAU are sitting amongst so much talent down in south Florida, I doubt they will be effected. Look out Troy!!
stAte has been recruiting Bama quite a bit in recent years - two 3 stars and three 2 stars per Rivals in this class.

It affects us the most, 'cause more people will look for us to leave unless we add football (which I hope we do).

We don't get many players from that area because of USM mainly. The few that we get are much appreciated, but not to the point that it'll cripple the program. We are in the Panhandle, west GA, and Monroe, LA recruiting. So, they'll get a few; we'll get a few and S. Miss will get the majority.
USA recruiting will mainly affect USM and UAB.
I agree on USM, because they've always gotten a lot of kids from the area, but UAB has never had much of a presence in Mobile to begin with, so I don't think UAB would feel it much.

Whose program will it hurt?
That's easy.
The rest of their sports. Money will be funneled away and the rest of the sports will go in the tank for a while.
Ask WKU. Ask FAU. Ask FIU.
The athletic department's big focus will be football and the other sports will be neglected to a degree.

USA only had 3 players sign from the Mobile area and 1 from Pensacola.
I think there will be some recruiting battles with MTSU for northern Alabama kids but I believe the Jags will hurt Southern Miss the most

Here is the local take on USA recruiting. USA lost kicker to UAB.
