He did a good job last year and has elevated FIU for sure, but I cant IMGAINE Pitt fans woiuld be happy with a 16-33 recordd coach from the Sun Belt.

The riots would be loud.

Actually, Pitt could spin it as a pedigree hire. Cristobal's ties with "the U" and with Florida as a hotbed for recruiting are both good selling points AND, in contrast to their last hire, he's clean.

They could do much worse, IMHO.

Longshot? Perhaps. But we all have to feel good about the conference when our coaches start getting the BCS calls.

No way no how. He isnt leaving south Florida.
