That oughta keep Michigan away as they search for their new coach.

Thats true they dont mean a whole lot to most coaches these days but I think with Patterson its different he has built this program and been here for 13 years now and 10 as head coach. He will be getting paid around 3 million a year and is soon to be in an AQ conference I think TCU found the diamond in the rough who isnt always looking for the next big thing.

Good for TCU. I doubt Patterson is looking for another job otherwise he would not have signed an extension through until 2018.
Looks like TCU is going to have coaching stability for a while which is the key to maintaining the program at a high level.

Patterson's wife is also from Ft. Worth and they have roots around here. They have a beautiful home right off campus and within sight of Amon Carter Stadium. Everyone in town knows and likes this guy and up until now, he really has faced no pressure to win.

$3 mil. a year, walking distance to work, local celebrity, no pressure. Who wouldn't like that situation?
