TCU had 8 guys in the box all game long. If Tolzien had been able to hit the broad side of a barn then Wisconsin would have won the game. That is why Wisconsin didn't run it more...

I'll tell you the biggest reason why this billboard was a waste of money for TCU: They will never get a game vs. OSU, except in Columbus.

TCU bought it to throw some more EGG in the face of E. Gorden Gee. That was their sole motive, which is why those billboard ads were purchased in Columbus...

To be clear, no one has said that TCU as a school bought the billboard space. Assumption is that it is some boosters, fans, etc.

What ever the case, matt, my point remains...

That's what I meant. And I agree with Bit that the motive was to chide Dr. Gee, and that it was accomplished in spades. I just question whether it was really worth the money to do so.

I first noticed that when he was hired as WVU's President in 1981. I was reminded while he was at Vanderbilt. He was the President there when I got my transplant at Vandy in 2004. But this latest episode drove the irony home, IMO...

b. I will say again, because it bears repeating, good job TCU. I really didn't think the Badgers were going to lose that game.

I do not like the SEC and was pulling for OSU, but in no way does this win erase the beatdowns the Bucks took in the two National Championship games. You got a ways to go to earn respect down in SEC country, trust me on that one. Riding High - not so sure.

By the way BE guys if you think the atheletic director at OSU does not think the same way about this conference - good luck with that one.

Oh my...how can TCU live knowing that Ohio State will never give them a home-home series.....

Put the shoe on the other foot: When the OSU President threw out his "little sisters" comment...that meant OSU would never get a game with TCU except in Ft Worth!

We already know that to be true. They were making similar comments in 2006 when it appeared a Big East team would play for the national title, and they wanted to try to pit the loser of the Ohio State / Michigan game in the title. The irony here, is that they did not think the Big East was worthy to play in that game, yet the Big Ten was so watered down that EVERYONE knew that Michigan and Ohio State would go into the last game undefeated, thus admitting they knew their conference sucked.

The truth of the matter is OSU would never play them anytime right now unless they had to. That's what's great about what is happening out there. TCU and UTAH and Boise and others are to follow. Access to a true champion will come.

Who gives a F#CK if the Buckeyes have any balls or not? The billboards had nothing to do with trying to get Ohio State to play TCU. TCU could care less if they play Ohio State or not. And you morons are too stupid to figure that sh!t out...
