Randy Edsall is the first person I've ever heard of that voluntarily moved to College Park. That place is an absolute hellhole, and I say that as someone who lived in Clifton Heights for 3 years.

It is a hellhole, for certain.

And Maryland is a basketball school first and foremost.

If his dream was to move into a split-level ACC football program...then, by golly, dream come true! 03-cloud9 03-lmfao

Never really thought it was all that bad when I've been there. Puzzling that Maryland is his supposed dream job. And there's no way he was hired over Mike Leach, they clearly couldn't agree on terms with Leach.

It has some pockets of good stuff, and I'm a huge fan of the eats on the main "drag" around Route 1, but venture off the main arteries at your own risk. It's too bad, because I think the campus of UofM itself is actually very nice and spacious, but the surrounding area.......not so much.....

Ahh ok. See one trip I took down to DC for a couple of nights I stayed at a hotel a hop, skip and a jump from campus right on Route 1.

Didn't he turn down Syracuse where he graduated from? You would have thought that would have been his dream job.
