That link can be sumarized by the first line, "At this point, perhaps this blog should just become the hourly Pittsburgh bad news report."

Pederson needs to go. This entire train wreck is his fault...

Elective surgery or "I don't want to risk my 1st round draft status by trying to win our 8th game in a meaningless directional bowl coached by no one and attended by no one" 03-lmfao

Luckily the DL is one position Pitt has good depth at.

Reports are Pederson will be gone in 4-5 months after this all blows over when things are a little more calm. Until then, he doesn't even go to the bathroom without the Chancellor's approval

That's actually not good news for the new head coach...as every head coach wants to work with the AD that hired him.

Bringing in a new AD in 4-5 months that may not see eye-to-eye with the current HC...plus the fact that every AD is basically "judged/paid" based on their own Football/Basketball Head Coaching hires...that may not bode well for the job security of the new HC.

Not many smart HC's would want to jump to a school that was bringing in a new AD in 4-5 months.

Do Pitt fans still think that Jeff Long was bad now? He went to Arkansas and hired a good coach who has now brought them to a BCS bowl. Not too shabby.

I wouldn't keep him any longer. Who knows what stupid decisions he could make in the interim that might effect Pitt negatively?
